Asphaltech has long been on the cutting edge of road rehabilitation. Through both in-house research and development and the implementation of world-leading technology, we offer a number of solutions for fatigued roads that also offer significant economic and environmental benefits.
From the use of bottom layer Stone Mastic Asphalts (SMAs) (high bitumen and low voids) to deep lift asphalt with a variety of wearing courses, we also offer various sustainability-conscious products unrivalled in the market, which help our customers reduce their carbon footprint.
Asphaltech owns and operates two fixed, batch mix plants and laboratory facilities located in Western Australia and Victoria, offering us complete control over the quality of our asphalt products. These highly efficient and environmentally-friendly asphalt plants are capable of manufacturing a range of versatile asphalt products, ranging from the conventional dense-graded hot mixes to the low carbon-emission, warm-mixed asphalt and premium SMA with extended life-span.
Our Victorian plant can produce asphalt at a rate of 120 tonnes per hour, while our WA premises boasts a new (2018) Marini Top Tower 2500 Asphalt Plant – the latest in asphalt plant technology. This state-of-the-art plant offers maximum output and efficiency with minimal energy usage and less pollutants being released into the environment, and significantly improves the asphalt production rate to 200 tonnes per hour.
Asphatech also has two mobile production plants – outputting 50 tonnes per hour and 160 tonnes per hour respectively – that can do any project work in Australia.
With over 40 years’ combined experience, Asphaltech offers reliable construction services to both the government and private sectors using the latest technology pavers, rollers and trucks.
Where the scope of a project extends beyond asphalt alone, Asphaltech also offers a comprehensive project management service, which includes profiling, sweeping, traffic management and line-marking. Our customers appreciate our ability to understand their overall project needs, along with the ability to deliver a project from the planning stage through to final completion and handover.
Asphaltech has a civil construction division carrying out all aspects of civil works for government councils and private developers. This includes road rehabilitations, roadworks, resurfacing, profiling, road widening/extensions, drainage projects, carpark constructions, minor earthworks, underground services, concrete kerbing, footpaths, crossovers, traffic control and small subdivisions (green title and strata).
Our civil crews, including our supervisors, foremans and engineers, are highly trained and experienced and equipped with company-owned modern machinery to ensure maximum efficiency for its customers.
